Apesar do fato deles estarem gostando de sua música, o teclado era o único instrumento que faltava para obterem o tipo de som que eles queriam. Em 1996, Jaume Corvera entrou na banda com seu teclado, e, desde então, os quatro membros têm estado tocando e aprendendo juntos.
Contudo, duas mudanças tomaram lugar quando o grupo deciciu aumentar. Um segundo guitarrista (Albert Tornés) foi incluído por um curto período de tempo, mas deixou a banda devido a diferenças musicais. Assim, Josep Tordera, irmão de David e Jordi o substituiu.
Após gravarem o primeiro álbum, chamado SECRETS OF THE ELDER (lançado pela Goimusic), Jordi passou a dedicar-se exclusivamente à performance vocal, deixando o baixo para um novo integrandte, David Ruiz. Em 2005, Lórien lançou FROM THE FOREST TO THE HAVENS, seu segundo CD, também pela Goimusic.
