No vídeo ele faz a risada marcante do personagem.

Já teve Thundercats, He-Man, Bastard...

Michael Reaves o criador conceitual do desenho faleceu dia 22.

Ele sofria de Mal de Parkinson. Doença neurológica, no caso Alzheimer foi o que acometeu outro grande roteirista dos oitenta, Larry DiTillio, o de Transformers.

Michael Reaves, Batman: The Animated Series and Gargoyles Writer, Dead at 72

By Adam Barnhardt - March 22, 2023 06:59 pm EDT

Michael Reaves, a prolific writer in the world of Star Wars and animation, has died. Steve Perry, a longtime collaborator of the writer, confirmed the news with Multiversity, saying Reaves passed due to complications of Parkinson's disease. He was 72.

Though Reaves had writing credits on nearly every show '90s kids grew up with, he was arguably best known for his award-winning work on Batman: The Animated Series. In addition to writing "Perchance to Dream," an episode many rank along the show's best outings, Reaves won an Emmy for his work in the writer's room at the 1993 Daytime Emmy Awards. Furthermore, Reaves was nominated for an Annie Award in 1995 for his writing work on "Deadly Force," the critically-acclaimed (and surprisingly dark) Gargoyles episode that deals with gun violence.

Other animated credits on Reaves' resume included The Real Ghostbuster, He-Man, Dungeons and Dragons, Transformers, My Little Pony, Superman, and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.

When it comes to prose, Reaves was also heavily involved in Lucasfilm's publishing efforts in its Legends canon. Some of Reaves' most popular Star Wars works include Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, the MedStar duology, and Coruscant Nights.

The writer also dipped his toes into the world of live-action television, writing anything from episodes of The Secrets of Isis and Shazam! in the 1970s to The Twilight Zone, Star Trek: Swamp Thing, The Flash, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: New Voyages.

One of his last works was the InterWorld trilogy, a series of books he wrote with Neil Gaiman and his daughter Mallory. A graphic novel adaptation is currently in the works.

History of the evolution of Requiem episode, with proof links:

1985 - Requiem script produced by Michael Reaves

2000 - Michael Reaves shared the script, so he could prove that rumors about a last episode of the show, where the kids died and went to Hell, were not true. I recovered the original post (from his old blog) with Web Archive: http://web.archive.org/.../www.../requiem_preface.htm
It's a very interesting post. The link to the pdf is at the end.

2006 - American DVD set of D&D cartoon released, with all 27 episodes and including a radio show based on Requiem script, with professional voice actors, including the original voice of Sheila

2006 - Comics version (manga style) created in Portuguese by the people from the web site Neo Fanzine (but almost no one noticed). I like this version, some moments are better explained than in the Reinaldo Rocha's version, but the style is different and with no colors.
It's divided in 4 pdf's:
http://web.archive.org/.../www.neofanzine.../PDF/requiem.pdf
http://web.archive.org/.../www.../PDF/requiem2.pdf
http://web.archive.org/.../www.../PDF/requiem3.pdf
http://web.archive.org/.../www.../PDF/requiem4.pdf

2010 - Reinaldo Rocha published his famous colored comics version (also in Portuguese) in his blog: http://reinaldorocha.blogspot.com/.../finalmente-o-final...
It can be read more easily here: https://zupi.pixelshow.co/requiem-o-final-de-caverna-do.../
It was done because of his graduation in graphics design, with a great effort after a car accident, as he states here: http://reinaldorocha.blogspot.com/.../caverna-do-dragao.html

2015 - The user Rolo Chillen published in YouTube a video that mixed Reinaldo Rocha's comics with the DVD radio show, translating the contents of the balloons to English. It's the best experience to know the story until now, for people who speak English. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4WFXW-BzPk

2019? Maybe 2020, but I think it will be ready in 2019 - The user Zetavio Deloryan from YouTube (our Ryan) will release the cartoon itself with the episode, based on the scripts, with the same style of the original, done with a great effort, using images cut from the original D&D cartoon and other cartoons (rotoscoping), among other techniques, frame by frame. Most of the voices will be taken from the DVD radio show. It's getting awesome! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcz4Yw6LTt-NMZO49vDNrBQ

So our dream will finally come true.

Aprendi com minha mãe a gostar desse desenho. Foi ela que me apresentou a ele e com ela ví muitos episódios. Amava todos os personagens mas o Presto me encantava com a possibilidade de tirar vida do chapéu..
