The Elves
They were born in the far East
But there was a Dark Lord and his beasts
And there was no hope for them
No flower, no leaf, no fruit and no stem
But suddenly the great rider came
With his sparkling horse and his fame
He was Oromë of the Greats
The one who came to save
And in the East they saw the Light
And it was the Western Might
And with the Horseman they went away
Into the West of the Eternal Days
They saw Yavanna and her Two Trees
Ulmo in the water with the geese
Manwë in the Highest Mountain of the World
But Nienna's torment was the worst
And this people didn't vanish
And in the West there was no blemish
In Valinor, in Eldamar
In Tol Eressëa and Valimar
There were so many bells
No stain, no trash, no hell
But the things started to change
And they got tired of the Range
One day the Trees were destroyed
And the Light of Valinor disappeared
The Power of the Greats has fallen, said them
And soon will come the Men
They got tired of the protection
And they got tired of the directions
Tired of Avathar and Araman
Tired of Tirion and hole Aman
They wanted to became free forever
But they wouldn't be it, never
Because the Greats are the Valar
Who came in the name of God
And the Greats wanted only to protect them in their halls
Not to slave them, at all
But the elves were greedy and proud
And the curse said that they would never tread on in the holy ground
Never Again
And they would find the stain
And they would see the blood
And only in the end they would try to return to God
But Valinor now was lost forever
And the way was closed forever
They killed their own brothers
Sailors from Alqualondë and many others
And they went to Middle-earth
And they found Morgoth
And then they wanted to return
But the way was closed
And only one could save them all
Eärendil, son of Idril of the Marble Halls
Son of Tuor of the Heirs, the Men
Only he could save them
He tried to find the holy route
With his great and sparkling boat
And he saw again the jettys of Avallónë
Taniquetil and Alqualondë
And Manwë saw him in the Light Way
And now, he would never go away
Manwë forgave them all and the curse was forgotten
But Eärendil's return was now forbidden
So Elwing and him went to the sky
And They became the Evenstar in the High
With the Silmaril of Fëanor
This song ends in the sky of Valinor
